According to the Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai, "There should be no descrimination against languages people speak, skin color and religion". It only means that no person should be treated unfairly by anyone. This has been a big issue for the people who are unique in their own ways, discrimination can be seen anywhere in this society but I often see cases of descrimination at school. I remember my classmate last year who suffered and has been a victim of discrimination and bullying because of her pronunciation.

She is from the province of somewhere in Visayas. I don't know what's the reason for her to transfer here but what I only know is that she is working with her aunt. She's always been teased by many of our classmates because she pronounced words wrongly. For example, the word "torah" she pronunced it as "tura" and by then she was remembered by that. After that, she seen seldom in our class, I think she lose her confidence and self-esteem. She performed bad in school and was degraded by teachers and us.

I didn't do anything to stop my classmates that time and instead of doing right, I was become one of them who underestimated her because of her weakness in pronouncing words. So, the question now is how will I promote equality and sensitivity of all people. I think the best way to promote equality is to show your love, support, respect and give honor to them. I may not did the right thing to do that time, but now I promise to myself that I will never be like that kind of person again. I now believe that people can be equal because we are all created to be one, and to be one is to respect and give each other the incompleteness in life.
